JIA ZHEN earned the BA in 2018 from the SICHUAN FINE ART INSTITUTE at Chongqing. Since then she has been studying in the Master degree of Fine Arts at the University of Arts London Wimbledon.
About her artworks, improvisation and Multimedia-Recreation that are mostly made. From there, she faithfully tracing the essence of substances.
To tribute the aesthetic of simplicity many of her works are in the form of raw collections. Procedures of re-creation are timeless, it means do not 'cook the prepared-ingredients all together, use the vegetables when they are still crispy'. Artworks such as < One day > < Asian girl's London life> are free improvisation, they are totally unpredictable, uncontrollable.
'The more I want to control it, the more I could lose, controlling is the wrong action of firstly stepping-in'. As for installation or creation, the most thrilling part would be: flaws are sometimes chosen to keep. so that when creators look back, every little spot traced back to the essence of substances.
